Why do you see here, in the section on the literary basis of The same WORD, a quote by a drag queen, seen in New York Ciy’s MOMA? Because this project shares the conviction, that we, each and every single person, need to be aware and appreciate our nakedness – and thus our humanity – in order to live together peacefully.

Following this understanding, the text which the composers put to music, is based on excerpts of the holy books and mystics of the four religions the project focusses on. It will show, how closely the ethical values in all of the traditions resemble each other. And that the conscious dissociation from “the Other” is rather a political act than an ethical prerequisite or dogma given by the spiritual traditions.
